Vortex, 400MM 3-Way Seal Tite Gravity Diverter.  Valve body is
carbon steel. Valve blade is abrasion resistant steel 400 BHN minimum. Removable access cover is provided
to service or clean interior while valve remains in service.  Material contact is carbon steel, polymer, and
rubber.

• (KS) - Valve is rated for 180°F(82°C) maximum continuous service.  Valve has polyurethane blade seal and
PET blade shaft seal backed with live loaded silicone sponge rubber.  Enhanced shaft seal and pivot spacer is
PET.  External shaft seal is silicone rubber.
• (E16080) - USING (2) HYDRAULIC ACTUATORS, SETUP FOR 3000 PSI MAX. VALVE BLADE TO
BE CONSTRUCTED OF ABRASION RESISTANT STEEL, 400 BHN MINIMUM.  VALVE TO HAVE 1/4"
THICK REPLACEABLE LINERS MADE OF ABRASION RESISTANT STEEL, 400 BHN. MINIMUM

feet of travel.  The unit includes a scavenger which seats into the hatch of the container being loaded. The
unit is designed to load at up to 100 CFM (169.8 CMH).  This unit features the industry leading four (4)
cable hoist drive system which incorporates custom CNC machined three (3) piece cable pulleys, heavy duty
idler rollers with sealed bearings and comes with a ten (10) year cable warranty.
• The unit is driven by a right angle gear type reducer @ 60:1 ratio powered by a  400 VAC / 3 phase / 50
hertz TEFC electric brake motor.  Motor is IP55 rated.
• The unit is equipped with a 24VDC NEMA-4 rated IP67 upper limit switch and a NEMA-4 rated IP67
slack cable limit switch which are pre-set and factory wired into a NEMA-4 rated IP66 enclosure.
• (VF) - Unit incorporates a vent through design to be utilized with an appropriate Vortex In-Line Filter
(purchased separately).
• (A4) - Material contact areas are constructed of minimum 400 BHN abrasion resistant steel.  All other
construction is mild steel.
•  Outer dust sleeve is constructed of 17 ounce (.48kg) hypalon nylon with aluminum inner and outer support
rings.  Sleeve is rated for 220°F (104°C) maximum continuous service.
2.   VFS-10-C-B-A4 
    Vortex in-Line Filter System.   The unit is equipped with a main
withdrawal fan with integral damper that are rated @ 400 CFM (679.2 CMH) @ 7.5” SP.  The unit utilizes
four 8" (203.2 mm) diameter X 18" (457.2 mm) long cartridge type pleated filters.  The air to cloth ratio has
been designed @ 3.4:1 with a cloth area of 116 square feet. (10.78 m^2) The unit is equipped with an
automatic pulse jet filter cleaning system which utilizes a solid state controller with adjustable blow-off delay
times and incorporates four (4) solenoid valves that control four (4) ¾" (19.05 mm) main diaphragm valves
centrally plumbed to a main compressed air header with a 1” NPT connection and dial type pressure gauge.
All controls are factory mounted, wired and plumbed.
• The unit is powered by a direct drive coupled 400 VAC / 3 phase / 50 hertz TEFC motor.  Motor and
enclosures are NEMA 4 rated. Motor is IP44 rated.
• (B) - All components are 24VDC.
• (A4) - Inlet tube is constructed of minimum 400 BHN abrasion resistant steel.  All other construction is
mild steel.
•  Pleated cartridge filters are constructed of spun bond polyester material rated to 180 F max temperature.

factory mounted and wired. Unit has DPDT output contact and adjustable 0-10 second time delay
function (Unit hangs down below the discharge of the loading spout).
• (B) - 24V NEMA-4, IP66 rated electronic controller which is wired to the loading spout
electrical enclosure. This unit utilized a cord reel to extend and retract.
